Beverly at Ipswich

Ipswich (6-3) had a 3 to 2 come from behind victory over Beverly (3-5) scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning on Thursday night.  Trailing 2 to 1 heading into the final frame, Ipswich got a 2 run double from Brad Eaton to earn the walkoff win.  Eaton started the game, and pitched 5 innings allowing only 2 runs on 5 hits while striking out 5.  Andy Workman earned the win pitching two scoreless innings in relief.  The Chiefs first run came on a Ryan Shoreman solo homer in the 4th inning.

Beverly was led offensively and defensively by Kevin Harutunian who was 3 for 4 with a homerun and a double.  Luke Deschamps pitched well in defeat throwing 6.1 innings, allowing 3 runs, 6 hits, and 1 walk while striking out 6.
