Rowley at Beverly

The Beverly Giants (4-5-1)
beat the Rowley Rams (0-4-1) by the score of 18 to 8 Sunday.
Beverly was led by Mike Freni who hit for the cycle while going 5 for 5
with 6 runs knocked in. Ty Besse, Derek Scialdone, and Jeff
Barricelli each had 3 hits. Sean Martin earned the win pitching 5
innings, allowing 3 earned runs, and striking out 8
batters.
Rowley took a 4-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but Beverly scored the next 8 runs of the game to defeat the Rams.
